So, as I mentioned briefly yesterday, DC is ending the run of three Bat-titles--Nightwing, Robin, and Birds of Prey.
We don't get Nightwing, and we've only recently started to pick up Robin, but we've gotten Birds of Prey for quite a while and will miss it.
People have been saying that it's likely that at least some of these cancellations have to do with post-R.I.P. changes and that the titles will probably be replaced with other Bat-related books. I can see that with Nightwing and Robin. But Birds of Prey? I don't even classify that as a Bat-book, not really. The association is, in a lot of ways, only marginal. So my question is, what the heck is going to be happening to Barbara Gordon?

I actually think that there are alot of things DC can do with Barbara, at least I hope... I've been reading through the entire Nightwing series recently, and Babs is in that comic quite alot, often times assisting Nightwing whenever he needed help on a case, which was pretty often.
Back then, Babs was kind of like the backbone of the Bat family, as she would provide the rest of the Bat guys with information that only she was able to get, thanks to her technological know how and connections. I can even remember a scene in one of the Nightwing comics where she actually had a camera in the White House spying on Lex Luthor!
I personally wouldn't mind seeing Babs returning to her Bat family roots and setting up shop in the Batcave, organizing everything the Bat family does from there.
I know I would totally buy an "Oracle" comic book with Babs as the main character, leading the other Bat family members around.
They're going to give her cyberlegs, a haircut and some stubble and make her the new Batman. No one would see that coming.
You know, if this was the Marvel universe, I would totally buy into your idea Dreadful Rauw!
Marvel has this horrible obsession with changing the sex of it's characters, so lets hope DC can resist the urge to copycat!!!
